Investigation Experience:

​I am an experienced investigator with an extensive background in Human Resources and Labour Relations. I have conducted investigations involving executive officers, paramilitary officials, recognizable athletes, and employees at all levels of the organization.  I specialize in complex matters involving multiple complainants/respondents, and numerous allegations spanning lengthy periods of time. I have been retained by many of Canada's largest law firms to investigate a variety of matters including:

  • Gender discrimination
  • ​Racism
  • Sexual harassment
  • Psychological harassment and bullying
  • Disrespectful conduct
  • Supervisory abuse
  • Toxic and dysfunctional workplaces


I am an advocate for respectful workplaces.  I have developed and implemented respectful workplace policies in small and mid-market companies.  I also provide coaching on how to resolve dysfunctional teams and restore a psychologically healthy workplace. Additionally, I have created and delivered workplace investigation training programs for Human Resources professionals.  


My Background:

I am a senior Human Resources and Labour Relations professional with extensive experience in the mining, manufacturing, and utility industries.  I began my career working underground in a potash mine to pay for university.  Throughout my career, I have worked for international companies in both plant and corporate positions.  I have supervised Human Resources departments and was responsible for Labour Relations for a large unionized industrial workplace. I have lead the resolution of many labour disputes, grievances, and served as Chief Spokesperson for Collective Bargaining. I have written Human Resources policies on a variety of topics including respect in the workplace, drug & alcohol, and developed employee handbooks for many mid-market businesses.
